DNC was formed by David Newton in 1991. He was previously Director and General Manager of the Management Services Company within a major UK insurance group.

The consultancy was launched to provide consultancy in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning, determined to implement its own pragmatic methodology based on common sense and good management practice.

Launching our own Internet Division was a logical development of our business experience together with our technical interests and expertise.

DNC worked very closely with selected associates companies from day 1, always trying to maximise the quality and value added by our services, and formalising collaborations for particular areas of development and service delivery.

In 2001, as a result of illness and retirement, the consultancy withdrew from business continuity work, deciding to concentrate on an increasingly successful internet business.
