Taverna Steki

The Steki Taverna is very much a family business,
run by Katerina Liapi and her husband Jorgos, helped by their two
sons. They are open from the start of the season, which starts immediately
after the Greek Easter celebrations, through September.
Other family members will be found helping in and
around the Taverna from time to time, whether waiting on tables
or tending the gardens. |

All of the ingredients used at the Steki are fresh,
some home grown, all chosen by Katerina, and all local produce.
Guests at the taverna can if they wish choose something
simple and essentially "international", such as an omelette
or meat grilled over charcoal, and can be sure it will be good.

Alternatively, people can choose a traditional
Greek dish, be sure that it will be freshly cooked, and sure too
that it will be an experience to remember. Katerina's
moussaka, stiffado, and pastitsio are probabably the finest Greek
food you will ever taste. |

The Steki atmosphere is very friendly,
where nobody is rushed, whether eating a multi course meal or just
taking a quiet drink.
