Car Hire on Thassos

All the main car hire firms are available on Thassos, and most have offices in Skala Potamias.

Many tour operators have specific deals with particular hire firms, such as Thomson's with Hertz, and it always worth asking the tour company rep for details of those arrangements, however, the tour operator's deal will not necessarily be the best deal in town, and it is always worth shopping around.

Hire of a car for at least a couple of days can be well worth it - the coastal road is very good, and there are a number of interesting and beautiful places to see.
