| Unlike most of the other places
mentioned here, The Stekis not on the beach front, but if
you like Greek food it is certainly worth a visit or two.
The Taverna is run by Katerina, supported by her husband Jorgos
and their two sons. You will be able to get simple English
food if that's what you want, but the Steki is essentially
Greek, and it is in its Greek food that it excels.
A dedicated Steki web site highlights the
excellent food available, and showing the accommodation available
there for the independent traveller.

| The pizzeria "DA RENATO"
is something out of the ordinary.
At Scala Potamias Dimitris and Natassa are
running the first Italian restaurant in Thassos. We are welcoming
you to a wonderful suited place near the sea where you can
enjoy original Italian pizzas, spaghetti and pasta.
It will be a gastronomical experience you
will never forget!

| The Koralli |
| Faces onto the sea, is always busy, and offers
a vast variety of food - a full range of Greek dishes but also
a great deal of English food. There are of course daily specials,
but behind those there is always a very full menu available. |

| The Krambousa |
| Is next door to the Koralli, and therefore also
facing onto the sea. The Krambousa is perhaps slightly up-market
from its neighbour, offering excellent food from an imaginative
Greek menu, with friendly and attentive service - well worth
a visit. |

| The Thomai |
| Deeper into the village and nearer the harbour,
the Thomai again faces onto the sea, with some of its tables
under an awning right next to the beach. This is a very friendly
and relaxing place to either just have a drink and watch the
world go by or have something good to eat. |

| Close to the centre of the village, Eric's
offers food and entertainment from breakfast until late. Known
throughout the island as the place of the Cantona look-alike,
Eric's is the place to find a warm welcome whether you are
just looking for a drink, good food, a typical Greek evening,
or to watch an important match live on TV.

Potamia. It's called COASTERS. We opened last year, but would
like to see more custom please! we are close to thomai cafe,
in a new building down on the seafront. We are nextdoor to the
