The Steki Taverna is a well known landmark
on the main road into Skala Potamias, and as well as providing
some of the best Greek food available on the island, also
has a total of 16 excellent rooms to let.
The Steki is not connected with any tour operator
and is happy to let rooms by the day, or the week, or whatever
- but visitors have to find their own way to the island.

| The Hotel Achillion is a family owned
and run hotel of 36 rooms, providing bed and breakfast accommodation.
There is a pool, and excellent lunches can be available if
requested.
The Achillion is available through Thomson Holidays as part
of a package, but is also available to the independent traveller.

Posidonia Apartments are located
in Skala Potamias in a quiet place just 200m. from Golden
Beach. It has 9 apartments where 1 to 4 people can sleep.
All the apartments, apart from one, have two balconies. There
is also central heating.
From our rooms, there is both mountain and sea view. From
where we are located, we get a nice sea breeze during the
day and a mountain breeze in the night. We have a yard, swings
for kids, and table tennis available. There is also a water
fountain for kids, big or small to cool off in. You will love
our outside grill for your family cook outs. Parking is also
available.

best sandy beaches on Thasos.
